The CAN DO Community Foundation offers several scholarships to deserving students in the Hazleton area.

• • The W. Kevin O’Donnell Memorial Scholarship Fund will support a scholarship(s), in honor and memory of W. Kevin O’Donnell, for students who reside in the Hazleton Area School District and plan to study in the fields of Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Economic Development, or a similar field.
• • The Edgar L. Dessen Community Service Award gives the opportunity for several students to attend Hazleton Area Junior Leadership each year.
• • The Joseph Yenchko Award provides funds for three local students to attend Ferrwood Music Camp each summer.
• • The CAN DO Foundation scholarship is awarded annually to a student attending Penn State Hazleton. These scholarships allow students to pursue additional opportunities to develop beneficial skills to succeed in the future.
